Copper Concentrate Shed — Roof & Structural Upgrade

Project Overview

Completed a full roof replacement and structural upgrade of the Copper Concentrate Shed at a major gold mining operation, including removal of the existing ventilated ridge, roof sheeting, guttering, purlins and bridging.

Installation of new materials including a sheet upgrade to vinyl ester coated fibreglass tinted to Colorbond Pale Eucalypt to match the existing colour scheme on site and creating a UV barrier.

The works were delivered within a live mining environment, requiring tight coordination of trucks and personnel, while managing extremely fine concentrate dust conditions using Adflo breathing apparatus and dust-proof PPE to maintain safety and productivity.

Point of interest — vinyl ester coated fibreglass affords a warranty of 20 plus years regardless of environmental conditions.
